Soul-searching the human condition, the work has an outsider-surrealist quality. Exploring a dreamland, the paintings reach through the threshold of consciousness and unconsciousness. Energy-charged free-flowing forms, the use of subtle colours for finer feelings and stronger colours for more brutal ones, interpret primal fears and emotions.

Dynamic rhythms appear as the paint physically swirls, dancing vibrant patterns, as the connective flow of intuitive shapes overcome form. Lifting a curtain between the visible and invisible world, the artist confronts powerful emotions in a contemplative, meditative way, where inner demons, violence, pain, humour and more contented spiritual bodies are expressed, balance in motion playing a pivotal role.
