My work revolves around myth that I have invented, dark tales set in Romania, I was born in Seattle however my family on both sides are eastern European, this has had a strong effect on my work.
In my paintings I use many layers of paint and texture, this gives the paintings an effect of movement, this is a visual aesthetic that I must have in my paintings……………….. a breath, a strong wind, blood.
